With snow covering the grounds this week, most would think Long Island’s groundhogs, Malverne Mel and Holtsville Hal will tell us next week that we’re getting a few more weeks of winter, but nature will just have to take its course. The official word of whether we get six more weeks of winter or an early spring comes on Monday, February 2nd. In the meantime, plan ahead with numerous local Groundhog’s Day events happening all across the Island!
