The Homicide Squad is investigating a Fatal Vehicular Accident that occurred in North Massapequa on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 10:31 am.
According to detectives, Eighth Precinct Police responded to the north bound ramp at exit 5 of the Seaford Oyster Bay Expressway for a Fatal Vehicular Accident.
Upon arrival, police observed a 2019 BMW up on its side that had left the roadway and into the woods striking a tree. Further investigation revealed that the only occupant was a 17-year-old male driver who was pronounced deceased by a Nassau County Police Medic at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
