So the countdown began...10....9...8...7...6...5....4...3...2...1....HAPPY NEW YEAR! And just where was I? In the strangest of places. I was at a girlfriend of mines friends house party. Now before New Years there had always been tension between me and this girl. She afterall, was the object of the boy i loved desires. He wanted her, I wanted him, so naturally I hated her. Turns out i'm an idiot.
See all my friends went to a bar afterall - The Downtown in Farmingdale. It was $40 that I just didn't have. So now what? I stayed away from the ex for the most part, though...we did meet up early in the night for a little bit, and then my old friends would have made getting to work at 7am damn near impossible. So this girl invited me to her friends house.
And to tell you the truth - I couldn't have had a better time. I made a great new friend out of a once deemed enemy, and ushered in the new year hassle and drama free. It was great. hope yours was just as much fun. Cause my new Year is off to a Hella good time...
