WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EST THIS EVENING * WHAT...West winds around 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Isolated gusts to 55 mph possible. * WHERE...Portions of southern Connecticut, northeast New Jersey, and southeast New York. * WHEN...Until 10 PM EST this evening. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will blow down scattered tree limbs. A few trees and power lines could be downed, with power outages possible. Unsecured objects and decorations will be blown around and/or damaged.

According to The National Weather Center, the chance of it snowing tomorrow afternoon, mainly between the hours of noon and 3 p.m., is very likely. Chance of precipitation tomorrow is at 70% with a forecast of approximately an inch or two of snow accumulation possible.

Wind chills will be in the teens and temperatures very frigid in the lower 20s. Any light snow should end by the early evening hours on Tuesday.

A wind chill advisory is also in effect from 7 p.m. Wednesday night to 8 a.m. Thursday morning. With wind chill readings reaching as low as 15 below, prolonged exposure to these conditions could cause frostbite.
