Prior to joining Homes By Mara, Sandler was a sales agent with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Roslyn, NY which was formerly known as Eastbrook Realty. She also worked at Century 21 Laffey in Greenvale, NY. Before venturing into real estate in 2002, Sandler owned and managed a printing brokerage firm, Spencer Graphics, in Old Westbury, NY. She also worked in the education sector as a head teacher with Ross Academy Montessori Schools in Ross, CA in the early 1980s, and in the publishing industry as a production editor at Random House Publishing.
Sandler holds a B.A. in English Literature from Skidmore College, as well as Montessori International Certification in Primary School Teaching. A licensed realtor since 2001, she is a member of the Long Island Board of Realtors (LIBOR), and the National Association of Realtors. Sandler is a Long Island native who grew up in Roslyn Harbor, NY before moving to Old Westbury, NY. She eventually settled in Jericho, NY in 1999, where she currently lives with her husband and son.
