Uniondale Seven Eleven Employee Assaulted in Robbery Over Coke and Sweatshirt: Nassau County Police Seeking Suspect

The Third Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred in Uniondale on Thursday, January 18, 2024 at 8:17 am.
 
According to detectives, Third Precinct police responded to the Seven Eleven store located at 333 Oak Street for a Robbery that just occurred. An investigation revealed that a 41-year-old male employee confronted a male subject leaving the store without paying for merchandise and a physical confrontation ensued.
 
The subject dropped the merchandise and then struck the victim with a closed fist in the left eye causing a laceration. The subject then picked up the merchandise which consisted of a bottle of Coke and a gray Hofstra sweatshirt and fled on foot, last observed walking east on Meadow Street.
 
A Nassau Police Medic treated the victim at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
 
The subject is described as being male, black, 6’0” tall, medium build, black sweater, red  hooded sweatshirt worn underneath and black sweatpants.
