NY State Police: Woman in Shinnecock Indian Reservation Threatens Fuel Delivery Men with Shotgun

Southampton, NY - January 24, 2019 - On January 23, 2019, at approximately 9:30 am, Troopers responded to a menacing complaint at the Shinnecock Indian Reservation in Southampton. Investigation revealed that Jessica A. Hendrickson, age 31, residing at the Shinnecock Indian Reservation, threatened two propane fuel delivery men with a shotgun, who were attempting to lawfully remove propane tanks from the residence. 
 
Ms. Hendrickson was arrested and charged with Reckless Endangerment 2nd Degree (Misd.) and Menacing 2nd Degree (Misd.). Ms. Hendrickson is to be arraigned at Southampton Town Court on January 24, 2019 at 9:00 am. 
 
Although Ms. Hendrickson was currently residing at the Shinnecock Indian Reservation, she is not a tribal member.
 
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
