Purse Snatched in Brazen Daylight Heist: East Garden City Robbery Sparks Hunt for BMW Bandit
The Third Squad reports the details of a Robbery that occurred on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 3:55 pm in East Garden City.
According to Detectives, a female victim, 53, while in the parking lot of 600 Old Country Road exited her vehicle and was approached by an unknown male suspect. The suspect grabbed the victim’s pocketbook off her shoulder, breaking the strap, and fled scene southbound on Stewart Avenue in an older model grey BMW. Proceeds include the pocketbook, credit cards, an iPhone and an undetermined amount of US Currency. No injuries were reported.
