The first month of 2015 is just about over. As we head into the last few months of winter, Long Island will be the host to many great festivals and fairs. From music festivals to food fairs and more, there are plenty of events to enjoy no matter what you are in the mood for.
 
Here is a list of just a few of a the great festivals and fairs happening all around the island this winter and spring:
 
7th Annual New York City Beer Week
New York City
Febraury 20 - March 1
This city-wide event hosted by the New York City Brewers Guild will feature over 300 destinations for craft beer lovers.
 
Live Art Fusion at the Brick

This event will feature live music and painting at the Birckhouse Brewery.

The 66th Annual Hofstra Shakespeare Festival
