Where to Earn Girl Scout and Boy Scout Badges on Long Island

Written by Lyndsay McCabe  |  01. February 2015

Scouting is a popular pastime among many young people and the adults who lead them, and Long Island is full of many opportunities to earn badges in interesting ways.  Thanks to our plethora of science museums, there is no shortage of places to have your Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts complete their science-related badges, and their various journeys that are tied in with them.  Here is a sampling of places in Nassau and Suffolk Counties where you can earn scouting badges, but note that some places call their programs by the badge name, whereas others have different progrms that can be tailored to the badge you are looking to earn with your scouts.

For further questions about badge requirements, you can contact your regional group: the Girl Scouts of Suffolk County, the Girl Scouts of Nassau County, the Boy Scouts of Suffolk County, or the Boy Scouts of Nassau County.
