As the ground begins to thaw from the winter season, and subtle signs of spring start to appear, in comes maple sugaring season! Traditionally a big tradition in the New England area, even Long Island joins in on the sweet sensation that is maple sugaring. Maple sugaring, a process that involves tapping trees for their sap, is not only hands-on and educational - it’s delicious! Just imagine all of that liquid gold you’ll have from your hard work to slather on your morning pancakes or waffles!
