Brazen Robbery Strikes Franklin Square: Masked Gunman Targets BP Gas Station, Flees with Cash on Goldenrod Street!

The Major Case Bureau reports a Robbery that occurred on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 8:37 pm in Franklin Square.
 
According to Robbery Squad Detectives, an unknown male subject entered the BP Gas Station located at 740 Hempstead Turnpike. The male subject approached the store clerk standing behind the counter and pointed a black firearm at the victim, demanding money from the cash register.  After the victim complied, the suspect removed an undisclosed amount of US currency and fled northbound on Goldenrod Street.
 
No injuries were reported.
 
The subject is described as a male black wearing a black and gray flannel jacket, dark color pants, ski mask and gloves.
