According to Suffolk Police, a father and mother were arrested for allegedly leaving their 13-month old baby alone in the car in the parking lot of Target while they went shopping.
The temperatures outside Saturday were 22 to 25 degrees, when police received a 911 call that the baby was left in the car at the Target parking lot on Sunrise Highway in Bay Shore.
Police say Paul Albinagorta and Natalie Pascual were charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
The baby is safe and with a family member.
