Tragedy in Glen Cove: 69-Year-Old Woman Fatally Struck by Van While Crossing Pratt Boulevard
The Homicide Squad is investigating a Fatal Vehicular Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Friday, February 7, 2024 at 2:07 p.m. in Glen Cove.
According to detectives, while attempting to cross Pratt Boulevard, a female pedestrian was struck by a 2019 Ford van traveling southwest on Pratt Boulevard in the vicinity of Pulaski Street. The female, 69, suffered severe trauma and was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced by a hospital physician.
The female operator, 68, remained at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
