Mr. Stern serves as counsel to a wide range of businesses, from large privately owned companies to entrepreneurial ventures. Mr. Stern provides guidance on corporate and business matters, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate finance, with a focus on industries including healthcare (human and animal) professionals and practices, construction, aggregates and materials, manufacturing, telecommunications, real estate development, energy, and transportation and logistics. Mr. Stern also advises regularly on issue in private placement investment transactions. Mr. Stern is well known for his crisis management practice and his expertise in negotiating complex business settlements, having resolved disputes exceeding $1.0 billion. Mr. Stern offers hands-on support throughout negotiations and transactions, helping clients successfully navigate business challenges.

With over 25 years of private practice experience in Health Law, Mr. Silverman has extensive experience representing doctors, medical practices, independent practice associations, licensed health care professionals and facilities, healthcare businesses and not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Silverman began his career as Assistant General Counsel at the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY), advising physicians on medical-legal issues. Mr. Silverman serves as General Counsel to the Suffolk and Nassau County Medical Societies, as well as the Nassau and Suffolk Academies of Medicine, and has also served as MSSNY’s General Counsel.
