Bethpage Federal Credit Union, Long Island's leading community financial institution, and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, are pleased to announce the lineup for the 8th Annual Bethpage Federal Credit Union Air Show at Jones Beach, which this year will help commemorate America's Centennial of Naval Aviation. Each year, hundreds of thousands of spectators convene on Long Island to view the annual Bethpage Federal Credit Union Air Show at Jones Beach headlined by some of the most elite pilots in the world. This year, we are especially excited to be participating in the Centennial of Naval Aviation - a true milestone for our country, said Linda Armyn, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Government Affairs, Bethpage Federal Credit Union. To honor this historic celebration, together with the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, we have lined up some of the world's best military and civilian air performers. To date, the following world-class performers are scheduled to perform at this year's Bethpage Federal Credit Union Air Show at Jones Beach: Military Performers: U.S. Airforce F22 Raptor, U.S. Army Golden Nights Parachute Team, A-10 East Demo Team, United States Air Force Heritage Flight, 106th New York Air National Guard Air Flight Rescue Demo HC-130/HH-60, World War II B17 Flying Fortress, World War II B25 Mitchell Bomber, World War II B29 Superfortress. Civilian Performers: Sean D. Tucker - Team Oracle, John Klatt - National Guard Reserve, GEICO Skytypers, David Windmiller, American Air Power Museum Warbirds, and Mike Goulian. The Air Show will be held Memorial Day weekend 2011 at Jones Beach State Park, Wantagh, NY, on Saturday, May 28, 2011 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM and Sunday, May 29, 2011 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM. The Air Show is free to the public, but the standard $10.00 vehicle use fee will be collected each day upon entry to the State Park. For just $65, the Empire Passport permits unlimited vehicle access to most facilities operated by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation. One can purchase an Empire Passport now to use between April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012 to enjoy the forests, the seashores and the lakefronts of New York State's parks though all of New York's beautiful seasons!
