First Squad Detectives provide details of a fatal auto accident in East Meadow where a 78-year-old woman lost her life after her SUV struck a tree, with investigations ongoing.

First Squad Detectives report the details of a fatal auto accident that occurred on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at 1:25 pm in East Meadow.
 
According to detectives, a female, 78, operating a 2012 Ford SUV, left the roadway and struck a tree on 3 rd Street at Hempstead Turnpike. The female victim was transported to a nearby hospital and pronounced deceased by a hospital physician. No further injuries were reported.
 
Investigation is ongoing.
