Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man found in Central Islip yesterday afternoon.
An adult male was found deceased inside a tent-like enclosure on the southside of Suffolk Avenue, near Carleton Avenue, at approximately 12:30 p.m. The preliminary investigation and exam were inconclusive regarding the cause of death.
The cause of death for the man, who has not yet been identified by police, will be determined by an autopsy to be conducted by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office.
