The Seventh Squad reports an arrest for Criminal Mischief that occurred on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 3:40 p.m. in Massapequa.
 
According to detectives, officers responded to Tobay Beach located at 1 Ocean Parkway, for graffiti damages done to the Boatyard Restaurant, men and women’s bathrooms, concession stand, Surf Shack restaurant, west bathhouse, and the 9/11 Memorial Wall. These locations within Tobay Beach had been spray painted causing damages of approximately $3,500.00 US currency. After a thorough investigation, a male juvenile and Tayyab Muhammad, 20, of 55 Juniper Street, South Farmingdale were arrested on Sunday, February 23, 2025 without incident.
 
Defendant Muhammad is charged with Criminal Mischief 2 nd degree and Making Graffiti. He will be arraigned on Monday, February 24, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
 
The Juvenile defendant is charged with Criminal Mischief 2 nd degree and Making Graffiti. He will be arraigned on Monday, February 24, 2025 at the Youth Section of First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
