Hicksville Man Arrested for Assault in Franklin Square
The Fifth Squad reports the Arrest of a Hicksville man for an Assault that occurred on Monday, March 3, 2025 at 12:40 AM in Franklin Square.
According to detectives, officers responded to 505 Franklin Avenue for a disturbance. Upon arrival, it was determined that the Defendant Mandeep Singh, 30, of 81 Center Street was arguing with numerous people. The argument escalated and the defendant grabbed a chair and struck a 28-year-old male victim in the head. The defendant was placed under arrest without incident. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment and is in stable condition.
Defendant Singh is charged with Assault 2 nd Degree. He will be arraigned on Monday, March 3, 2025 at First District Court, 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
