The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Vehicular Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at 6:20 pm in New Cassel.
According to detectives, a male pedestrian, 44, was struck by a 2015 Chevrolet pick-up truck traveling eastbound in front of 683 Old Country Road.
The 24-year-old male operator of the vehicle remained at the scene.
The male pedestrian suffered severe trauma and was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced by a hospital physician at 7:14 pm.
No further injuries were reported.
The investigation is ongoing.
