Authorities are actively searching for a missing child in Manorville after reports surfaced Wednesday evening, March 5.

Suffolk County Police confirmed that a search was underway along Dayton Avenue following a report of a child missing from a nearby school. Emergency responders were alerted at approximately 5:20 p.m., though details remain limited.

The search area includes the vicinity of Dayton Avenue Elementary School and Eastport-South Manor Junior-Senior High School. As of now, law enforcement has not released information regarding the child’s identity, including age, gender, or last known location.

A K-9 unit has been deployed to assist in the search, and authorities continue to investigate.
