Replacing the old Badolato’s on Middle Country Road in Centereach, Mangiamo has opened and people are heralding the new Italian market and deli.
"Finally a great Italian food market that makes awesome sandwiches among other great food,” John L, from Port Jefferson Station said in his Yelp review. “Went for the first time Monday morning for Cuban sandwiches and was blown away with flavor and quality!”
The deli has all your favorites for breakfast (bacon, egg and cheese sammies) as well as some great alternatives like their avocado burrito ($6.99).
The signature sandwiches are where they shine. The Mangiano Special is loaded with meat, piling ham, salami, ham capicola, mortadella, provolone, tomato, onion, lettuce and roasted peppers with oil and vinegar on a semolina hero ($12.95). Or take a bite out of the Mangiamo Supreme with prosciutto, soppressata, mortadella, pepperoni, fresh mozzarella, roasted pepper, lettuce, tomato and balsamic vinegar on ciabatta ($12.95). The list of hand-helds goes on and on, each one more delicious sounding than the last.
They also have a build-your-own salad station.
