The Homicide Squad reports the details of a Fatal Aided that occurred on Monday, March 10, 2025 at 9:01 AM in North Lawrence.
According to Detectives, a 33-year-old male employee was operating a large payloader at a mason yard located at 4 Johnson Road when he struck a 54-year-old male employee. Officers responded to scene and the victim was transported by a Nassau County Police Ambulance to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced by a hospital physician. The investigation is ongoing.
The victim has been identified as Michael Porter, 54 of Bellport.
