Free is always better. Luckily for us, Long Island has plenty to offer in the way of free events. Now that the weather is (finally) starting to warm up, many of these events will be outside. Take the opportunity to put your winter coat away and enjoy some fresh air.

Community Crafters
April 1 at 6 p.m.
Westbury Library, Westbury
Meet other crafter while working on your own projects. Takes place the first Thursday of every month.
 
Film: The Time Traveller’s Wife
April 3 at 2 p.m.
Hampton Bays Public Library, Hampton Bays
Enjoy a free screening of this romantic movie starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams, rated PG-13.
 
Easter Vintage Car Exhibit and Parade
April 5 at 10 a.m.
Parking field between 9th and 10th streets, Garden City
This exhibit will feature cars 25 years and older. Easter parade begins at 1 p.m.
 
Living Healthy Workshop Series
