Nassau County Police launch investigation to find 81-year-old Athanasios Athanasiou, a vulnerable adult missing since Thursday morning in South Farmingdale, urging public assistance.

The Missing Persons Squad is investigating a Missing Vulnerable Adult that occurred Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 11:00 am in South Farmingdale and was reported to police on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at 11:00 pm.
 
According to Detectives, Athanasios Athanasiou, 81, was last seen leaving his residence. He is described as a male white, 5’8” tall, 210 lbs., with green eyes and white hair. His clothing description and destination are unknown. Athanasiou was last seen driving a Gold 2000 Honda CRV with a NY Registration of FJE2976.
 
Detectives request anyone with information regarding the above Missing Adult to contact the Nassau County Police Department Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
