It may be hard to believe, but Winter has ended, and Spring has arrived! With the start of the Spring Season, the beach is just starting to warm up! Why wait until the Summer to make the most out of Long Island’s infamous Beaches? There’s plenty of great ways to enjoy the beach now that the snow has melted! Get a jumpstart on fun at the beach this Spring and enjoy a longer season by the sea.
Winter and can take a toll on your exercise routine. The cold weather keeps you inside all day and gives little opportunity for outdoor activities. Also, with the coronavirus mandates, everyone is getting cabin fever. Luckily, Spring is here and the warmer weather is here to stay. There are many different activities you can start right now and continue until the Summer. Why stay inside any longer? Get into the spirit of Spring and get your heart pumping with these great season perfect activities.
Take a Walk on a Boardwalk
Long Island has some great boardwalks and these boardwalks are open right now. Get prepared for the warm weather by strolling along the beach view. Not only is the view beautiful but enjoying a daily walk along the boardwalk is a great way to get active in preparation for the Summer!

Why not use one of your favorite beaches for some nice relaxing meditation and enjoy some “me time” this Spring. Yoga is a relaxing form of exercise that can be done on a towel right on the beach sand! Never done yoga? No problem! Then just try meditating on your towel, either sit or stand, close your eyes and breath in that salty beach air. You will find yourself relaxing in no time. Some beaches even offer yoga classes, so be sure to check your local beach for any possible upcoming events.
Have your kids been cooped up all Winter long and now want to get outside and play? Why not try a beach with a playground? Here you can enjoy the beach while watching your little ones get out all their excess energy at the playground.
