Bring the kids to Sweetbriar Nature Center on April 9 as the Smithtown nature preserve and wildlife rehabilitation center turns into an enchanted forest filled with springtime fun. There will be egg hunts throughout the day with prizes, as well as a separate egg hunt for 2-4 year-olds to do with their parents. Enjoy live animal presentations, crafts, games, face painting, entertainment, and more. Looking for the perfect photo op? A special long-eared guest will be making an appearance, ready to pose for pics. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

The event runs from 11 a.m. through 4 p.m. Egg hunt times are every half hour starting at 11:30 a.m. through 3:30. Sign up online on the Sweetbriar website to select your time. Arrive at least a half-hour before your child’s egg hunt time to give yourself time to park and get to the field. Little ones under 4 can hunt for eggs throughout the day. Prices are $20 per child, $5 for adults. Raindate is April 16.
