TEDx Lake Success Releases New TED Talks
TEDx Lake Success Studios has released three new Tedx Talks filmed this year at the North Shore TV television studios in Lake Success. TEDx is a grassroots initiative, created in the spirit of TED’s overall mission to research and discover “ideas worth spreading.” TEDx brings the spirit of TED to local communities around the globe through TEDx events.
TEDx Lake Success Studio was thrilled to be granted a studio license by TED. These talks were filmed using the TED conference format but independently organized by TEDxLakeSuccessStudio. Their talks include:

Sandeep Kapoor, MD, MS-HPPL

The journey of life we travel is populated by an inherent need for acknowledgement— that feeling of being heard, understood, respected, and valued. “Hiring People with Differing Abilities Is Good Business”
John & Mark X. Cronin of John’s Crazy Socks
The United States faces a labor crisis and part of the solution will come from hiring people with disabilities. They make the business case of how hiring people with differing abilities not only fills open jobs, but improves morale, productivity and retention and helps recruit other workers. John and Mark X. Cronin are the father-son team that founded John’s Crazy Socks, a social enterprise with a mission to spread happiness..
