The Third Squad reports the arrest of a Queens woman for an incident that occurred on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 2:30 pm in Mineola.
According to Detectives, a peaceful Pro-Palestinian protest was being held at the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building located at 1550 Franklin Avenue. The defendant Allyson Fairbanks, 60, threw a red colored liquid on the statue of former President of the United States and Nassau County resident Theodore Roosevelt, causing approximately $2,000 worth of damage before fleeing scene.
After a thorough investigation, Third Squad Detectives located the defendant and placed her under arrest without incident.
Defendant Allyson Fairbanks is charged with Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree and Making Graffiti. She will be arraigned on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at First District Court 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
