Some pets are given up by no fault of their own. Brock, a 10 month old puppy, was surrendered by his family when they realized they did not have time to care for a puppy, so they brought him to Save-a-Pet Animal Rescue in Port Jefferson Station. Now Save-a-Pet is looking for a family for Brock so that he can grow up in a loving home where he can receive training and treats.
Brock is a Puggle (a mix of pug and beagle breeds), and as one can tell by the pictures, he is a happy, goofy pup who loves being with people. He gets along well with children and other dogs, making him a great fit for many different types of families. As a puggle, he will reach a maximium weight of around 20 pounds meaning that he would also do well in various kids of households, including apartment life.
Shelter staff describe this young boy as “simply adorable,” and looking at that mug, it would be hard to disagree.
