Help pets stay home with their families and prevent them from going hungry by donating pet food and supplies to the 12th annual Legislative Pet Food Drive. The drive is taking place now through May 31. Drop off items at Assemblyman Dave McDonough’s office at 404 Bedford Avenue in Bellmore, Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

Food and supplies for all pets are welcome, but the most needed items include:

 

• 5-10 pound bags of dog or cat food
• Canned food
• Kitty litter
• New pet toys

 

All pet food must be unopened and in its original packaging. No opened or ripped bags or loose pet food can be accepted. For more information, call Assemblyman Dave McDonough’s office at (516) 409-2070.
