Holtsville man arrested in Uniondale overdose investigation faces charges including drug possession and endangering the welfare of children.

The Major Case Bureau reports the arrest of a Holtsville man during an overdose investigation that occurred on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 4:30 pm in Uniondale.
 
According to Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives, an investigation into a fatal overdose of a Nassau County resident, led to the arrest of Nicholas Mayfield, 40, of 6 1 st Avenue.
 
Narcotics/Vice Squad Detectives placed the defendant under arrest without incident.
 
Defendant Nicholas Mayfield is charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3 rd Degree, Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3 rd Degree, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 5 th Degree, Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5 th Degree and two (2) counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He will be arraigned on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at First District Court 99 Main Street, Hempstead.
