The Fourth Squad reports the arrest of a New York City man for a Grand Larceny that occurred on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 3:24 a.m. in Oceanside.
 
According to Detectives, Officers responded to IHOP, 2971 Long Beach Road, for reports of a larceny in progress. Upon arrival, Officers observed a box truck near the restaurants cooking oil containers. Subsequent to the investigation, defendant Jahquay Rowe, 27, of 3425 Linden Place in Flushing, was arrested without incident. Defendant Rowe’s arrest has helped to close out an additional cooking oil larceny that occurred on Monday, April 8, 2024 in Woodbury.
 
Defendant Rowe is charged with two counts of Grand Larceny 4 th degree, and an open Warrant from Pennsylvania. He will be arraigned on Thursday, April 11, 2024 at First District Court, 99 Main Street in Hempstead.
