GREENPORT, NY, April 13, 2023 -- Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital (SBELIH) was named Sponsor of the Year by the East End Seaport Museum for its contributions to the annual Maritime Festival. East End Seaport Museum Executive Director Tracey Orlando presented the award to SBELIH Chief Administrative Officer Paul J. Connor on April 7. This year’s Maritime Festival kicks off with the Land & Sea Gala on September 22, followed by the parade and street fair on September 23 and 24.

 

The Maritime Festival, which receives over 65,000 visitors each year in Greenport, is one of the North Fork’s largest annual events, with a gala, parade and street fair benefiting educational programs, museum offerings, and the preservation of the Long Beach Bar (Bug) Lighthouse. SBELIH is the festival’s official sponsor.

This partnership allows Stony Brook Medicine and SBELIH to showcase our entire system and the services we provide to all of Suffolk County.”
