Dance Lessons For Your Wedding
You've taken care of all the details for your wedding ~ now there's just one thing left to do. You'll want that first dance to be one of the highlights of your wedding day, a demonstration of your harmony and unity and a delight for all your guests to watch. To help ease the jitters and to ensure that your first dance is memorable, enlist your instruction early in your wedding plans. This will ease the last minute stress you will undoubtedly have just before your wedding day.
In addition, you should also make sure that the person you hire for instruction is of the highest caliber. That person should have years of experience and be an active member of the National Dance Council of America. You do not have to go to a "name" studio as they are very expensive and do not necessarily give the best instruction. It's experience that counts.
Also, your wedding song and choice of dance should not be picked until you speak to an instructor. The reason for this is that some songs are not "danceable" for reasons of tempo, rhythm and ease of dance.
You should also expect to take at least 5 to 10 hours of instruction for your dance which would consist of 1 hour per week at a minimum.
