Bellmore Blaze: Residents Safe as Multiple Fire Departments Extinguish Home Fire

A fire broke out in a Bellmore residence, spreading to an adjoining home, but all occupants were safely evacuated and the fire was extinguished with the help of multiple fire departments.

The Public Information reports the details of a Fire that occurred on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at 5:30 pm in Bellmore.
 
According to police, a 34-year-old male was notified by a neighbor that his Judith Drive residence was on fire. All the occupants exited the home and no injuries were reported.
 
The fire spread to an adjoining residence and all of the occupants safely evacuated the  house. The Bellmore Fire Department with assistance from Merrick, Seaford and Wantagh  Fire Departments, responded and extinguished the fire.

The Red Cross was notified to assist displaced residents.
 
Arson/Bomb Detectives and Nassau County Fire Marshals were on scene.
 
The investigation is ongoing.
