Paws Saved: Dogs Rescued from Sag Harbor Fire and Found in Good Health

A residential structure fire in Sag Harbor was responded to by multiple agencies, and two dogs were rescued and found to be in good condition

According to the Southampton Police Department, firefighters were summoned to a residential structure fire on Carlisle Lane in Sag Harbor at approximately 7:50 a.m. on Monday, April 24.
 
Upon arriving at the scene, multiple agencies, including the Sag Harbor and East Hampton fire departments, were involved in responding to the incident.
 
Police have reported that, as per the crews' assessment, there were no occupants present when the blaze ignited, but two dogs were inside the house. Fortunately, both canines were rescued and taken to a veterinary clinic for examination, where they were determined to be in good health.
 
The fire, which seems to have been unintentional, is under investigation by authorities in order to ascertain its cause.
