On the strip with the Wantagh Inn and Mulchahy’s a new restaurant from the owners of Blackbirds, also in Wantagh, and Rustic Root, in Woodbury, has opened up. Uncle Frank's is a pizzeria and cocktail bar that opened up in the spot that used to be Corry's Ale House, which closed last year.
On Yelp, Adam Z, from Forest Hills, gave them five stars.
“I went for the first time with my girlfriend and family last night,” he said. “The service was warm and attentive. The wine list is well curated and thoughtful… Will definitely come back and try more. The vibe is hip and comfortable.”
Laura S also loved it.
“Another hit by the owners of Blackbird and Rustic Root,” she said. “The bar size and set up is the same as Corey's (the bar that was previously at that location) with a more romantic feel. The drinks are on point, delish and presented well. The pizza was fantastic and separated on the menu by red sauce pizza and white pizza… A nice meet for a drink or date night place.”
