If you grew up on Long Island, or have a school-age child, chances are you’ve been to United Skates of America in Seaford at one time or another. Perhaps you enjoyed spins around the roller rink in the dark wearing a glow necklace while listening to the latest dance music with your friends, family, or scout group. The rink is temporarily closed due to the quarantine, but you can bring some of that fun and excitement home (minus the roller skates) as United Skates hosts Club Quarantine - Kids Glow Dance Party on Facebook Live starting this Thursday, 4/30 and every Tuesday and Thursday night in May from 8 – 8:20 p.m. This is a free event.
Turn out the lights and join the United Skates DJ playing live music all geared toward kids. Let your kids wear themselves out before bedtime by dancing in the dark for 20 minutes.
Go for more glow
Add some extra colorful excitement by purchasing Glow to Go boxes filled with everything you need to maximize your #ClubQuarantine experience, from glow rings to laynards. But you don’t need glow items to participate. With or without glow products, this unique event will bring everyone in your home together for exercise, music, movement, and fun.
