The King's Motor Super Pumper in Hauppauge sold a winning Take 5 lottery ticket worth $18,980.50 in a midday drawing, according to lottery officials.

On Tuesday, April 25, lottery officials made an announcement that the King's Motor Super Pumper in Hauppauge, located at 1340 Motor Parkway, had sold the top-prize Take 5 ticket. The ticket was sold for a Take 5 Midday drawing and is worth $18,980.50. The New York Lottery states that a Lottery draw prize can be claimed up to one year from the drawing date, regardless of the prize amount.
 
Take 5 numbers are drawn twice a day from a pool of one to 39, and the results are televised. The New York Lottery is North America's largest and most profitable lottery, contributing $3.6 billion in the fiscal year 2021-2022 to support education in New York State, according to their website.
