The North Babylon Chamber of Commerce hosts the Third Annual Kite Festival at Overlook Beach on Sunday, May 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bring or buy your kite to be a part of this free, family-friendly event. Enjoy “Free Fly” Open Kite Flying of all ages from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. and a Professional Kite Flying Show with Kurtis Jones and the Wind Wolves Traveling Kite Show from 2 - 4 p.m. All are welcome.
The action-packed day will also feature candy drops, a Big Bubble machine, STEM/STEAM Town of Babylon Schools Kite Competition, dance demonstrations, live music, and food and merchandise vendors. Free admission and parking. Overlook Beach on Ocean Parkway is next to Cedar Beach and the Cedar Beach Marina in Babylon.
