The Rolling Spring Roll Vietnamese Restaurant Expands to Commack

Rolling Spring Roll, the Vietnamese restaurant with locations in Syosset and Farmingdale recently opened their newest spot in Commack.

 

The menu has classic Vietnamese dishes that people loved from their original restaurants like a selection of spring rolls filled with crispy pork, shrimp and vegetables ($7-12). The appetizer menu also includes Tan Binh Chicken Wings, crispy fried chicken wings glazed with a sweet chili sauce inspired by Central Vietnam ($11).

 

They offer Banh Mi sandwiches like the classic pork ($10.95), angus beef satay ($10.95), lemongrass chicken ($9.95) and barbeque chicken ($9.95). They also have a selection of Pho dishes in beef, chicken, vegetable and seafood.

 

Their Bo Luc Lac (shaking beef) is inspired by the French, Bo Luc Lac (shaking beef) is so named for the way the pan is shaken while cooking. A favorite for steak lovers, this dish sautes well seasoned angus beef cubes with red onions over rice ($21.95).

 

Try the Banh Xeo (pork and shrimp crepe, literally named for the sizzling sound the batter makes with it is poured into the crepe pan. Banh Xeo is made of a rice flour, coconut milk and turmeric batter and filled with a mix of bean sprouts, onions, pork and shrimp. It is served with a variety of herbs and lettuce and paired w/our vinaigrette ($18.95).

 

On Yelp, Hoan N, from Farmingdale, was already a regular customer of their other locations.

 

“Huge fan of the Farmingdale and Syosset locations,” she said. “I tried a few dishes at the new Commack location. Food is always consistently delicious. Welcome to the neighborhood!”

 

Brian C, from Kings Park, gave them five stars.
