Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that injured two people in North Bay Shore early this morning.
A 17-year-old male was standing next to an acquaintance on the corner of Pine Acres Boulevard and Benton Place when they were struck by gunshots at approximately 12:10 a.m.
The 17-year-old was struck twice and was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The other victim, also a male, was grazed by a bullet and refused medical attention.
