The owners announced on Facebook that they acquired the old Peninsula Asian Fusion restaurant location at 55 West Main Street in late May. They also celebrated the fact that Islip Town approved plans to add a rooftop bar with seating for 66 people in their plans.
“Although the decision to leave 70 E. Main Street was very difficult for us, it’s been a long time coming,” the owners said.
Their current location did not allow them to grow so they sought out a bigger home.
The new space will be more than twice their current size on the ground floor alone, according to the owners, and triple the current size during the warmer months with the rooftop open.
“We hope you’re as excited for rooftop margaritas as we are,” they said.
