Homicide Squad Detectives report the details of a fatal Vehicular Accident involving a motorcycle that occurred on Friday, June 7, 2024 at 3:00 pm in Old Brookville.
According to detectives, a 45-year-old male operating a 2002 Suzuki motorcycle traveling westbound, was involved in a collision with a 65-year-old male, operating a 2022 GMC pick-up truck traveling eastbound on Northern Boulevard in the vicinity of Hickory Road.
As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene by a Nassau County Police Medic.
The male operator of the GMC was transported to a local area hospital and is listed in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
