The Long Island Ducks baseball team is hosting a “Father’s Day Barbecue” on Sunday, June 19, prior to the team’s 1:35 p.m. game against the Wild Health Genomes. The special package includes an all-you-can-eat barbecue in the picnic area and a ticket to the game. The picnic area gates will open for the Father’s Day Barbecue at 12:05, and the BBQ will conclude at first pitch.
Father’s Day is also a Bethpage Sunday Family Funday. Fans will be invited onto the field for a pregame catch on the Field from 12:40 to 1:00. After the game, fans will be welcomed down to the field once again for Kids Run the Bases.
The Father’s Day Barbecue package is for $45 (adults) or $40 (children ages 4-9). Children ages 3 and younger sitting on an adult’s lap during the game are admitted free. Call (631) 940-3825 to reserve a package.
