Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Motor Vehicle Crash
Suffolk County Police Third Squad detectives are investigating a motor vehicle crash that seriously injured a motorcyclist in Bay Shore this morning.
Elva Molina was driving a 2006 Chrysler minivan out of a parking lot, located at 1464 5th Ave., when she attempted to turn into the northbound lanes of 5th Avenue and collided with a 2021 Suzuki motorcycle at 11:38 a.m.
The operator of the motorcycle, Anthony Dees, 32, of Central Islip, was transported via ambulance to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of serious physical injuries. Molina, 38, of Brentwood, was not injured.
