4th of July Fireworks at Jones Beach

The always popular Jones Beach fireworks show on July 4 is back for another year. The dazzling 30-minute display sponsored by Jovia Financial Credit Union starts at 9:30. Arrive early, parking will fill up fast. 


 

Fourth of July Weekend Celebration

Harbes Family Farm

Saturday, July 2 through Monday, July 4

 

Visit the Harbes Family Farm for a weekend of family-friendly fun. Kids can explore the Harbes Barnyard Adventure, an 8-acre experience for all ages. The Barnyard admission includes a Musical Hayride tour of the 100-acre farm and the famous pig races. There are also farm animals, “Jumbo Jumpers” bounce pillows, a Sports Zone with baseball, football, and basketball tossing games, “Lil’ Farmers PlayLand” for preschoolers, a trike track, obstacle course, hedge maze, and much more. Barnyard Adventure tickets are $23.95. Admission is free for ages 2 and under.

Have a red, white, and blue blast at Tanger Outlets. Bring your appetite and visit farm fresh vendors at the Little Big Farmer's Market, presented by Jovia Financial Credit Union. Music starts at noon and some of the best food trucks in the area will be serving from 11 a.m. on. Kids can take part in free activities including face painting, balloon animals, stilt walkers, photo activations, giant games, and more.


 

Fabulous 4th of July 4K Race in Memory of Sean Ryan

Fun run starts at 8 a.m., 4K at 8:30 a.m.

 

The Long Beach Department of Parks and Recreation will hold the Annual Fabulous Fourth of July 4K Race & 1K Children's Fun Run in Memory of Sgt. Sean Ryan on Monday, July 4. Flat course starts and finishes on the boardwalk at Laurelton Boulevard. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. at Laurelton Boulevard and the boardwalk or register online.
