This Week's Best Long Island Events 

Summer Open House at Ready Riders
Kickstands Up! This Saturday, from 11 AM - 4 PM, hop on the bike, and ride on down to Ready Riders Motorcycle Apparel & Accessories Store in Dix Hills for their Summer Open House. In addition to tons of great Seasonal Sales, there will be refreshments, raffles, and on-site demos by the Long Island Drag Specialties Rep. Come enjoy an afternoon of riding, food, and fun - a great way to kick off the summer!

Kings Park Farmer's Market Kicks Off 2012
This Sunday from 9 AM - 2 PM, the Kings Park Farmers Market will kick off thier 2012 Season at the Municiple Lot on 25A located next to the Kings Park Library. With dozens of local vendors featuring produce, cheeses, baked goods, meat, fish, and more, this is one market you won't want to miss. This event will be happening every upcoming Sunday until November 18th. Come out & support local grown!

Summer Music Series at the Sag Harbor Whaling Museum
Love music? This Saturday evening from 5 - 7 PM, come out to the Whaling Museum in Sag Harbor for thier Summer Music Series Featuring Dick Johansson & The Highlanders, with special guest Gene Casey. Tickets are $20 for 21+, and include an open bar, and $10 for folks under 21. Come out and enjoy a relaxing evening of good tunes and fun this weekend!

 

Macabre Faire Film Festival
All weekend long, the Mill River Manor Best Western in Rockville Centre will be hosting the Macabre Faire Film Festival - featuring spooking cinema with the theme of the Roaring 20s. Tickets are $10 - $40, depending on how many days & films you'll be attending, and patrons are encouraged to dress up in the Macabre 20s theme. Most of the films are rated R, and Friday & Saturday night's showings are 18+.
